                              RESOLUTION NO. 21648
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. 28G(EP2), PROCUREMENT OF THE SELF-CLEANING
                 FILTER SCREENS AT THE MOCCASIN BEND WASTEWATER
                 TREATMENT PLANT, TO U.S. FILTER/CPC, FOR THEIR
                 BID IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN
                 THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN DOLLARS
                 ($517,897.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. 28G(EP2), Procurement of the Self-Cleaning
       Filter Screens at the Moccasin Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant, 
to
       U.S. Filter/CPC, for their bid in the amount of $517,897.00.
